Title / Description: Ziggurat at UrCommentary: This is a reconstruction of the ziggurat at Ur in southern Mesopotamia in, as it would have looked around 2000 BCE. Measuring about 62.5 meters x 43 meters (200 feet x 140 feet) at the base, the ziggurat was essentially an elaborate platform for the temple that stood on top.
